Meet the Artist
I’m Lauren Voorhees, and I grew up spending too many late nights staying up past my bedtime playing RuneScape and binge-watch cartoons instead of doing my homework, and now I create weird, fun, colorful Y2K-inspired art online.
I’ve done illustration for indie comics and video games. Currently, I’m expanding my own line of prints and merch!

As a tween back in the 00’s, my friends and I frequented a popular anime/rpg online forum. I remember changing my username and avatar a lot, figuring out how I wanted to present an online persona.
One day, a friend was in the middle of their own rebranding journey and had a list of different cool-looking, mature-sounding handles, and one rejected idea was “t o n i i c”.Immediately, I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen, asked to take it, and it stuck.
‘Toniic’ is a hard handle to secure across different platforms, though. Eventually I was forced to add something to it make it more unique, and I chose ‘kid’ as a gender-neutral nod to the original Scene inspo, and to my general love of childhood nostalgia. -
At the time, I’m not offering custom orders of any product (resizing, color changes, text) because I don’t have the resources to commit the effort for small orders.
However! I am open to custom orders in bulk for private events like birthdays or weddings. If you are interested in a custom or bulk order, please reach out through the email portal below for rates! -
With the exception of a few designs, everything done by ME!
I order my supplies online and do everything from designing, formatting, laminating, cutting, and shipping all by myself.
When I want to do something special for a design and can’t print it myself, I currently use StickerApp.
Let’s work together.
Interested in working together? Fill out some info and we will be in touch shortly! We can't wait to hear from you!
